Warranty and Returns


We provide up to  2-year warranty* to all StreetGuardian dashcameras bought from us.

* Require On-line registration on the product manufacturer website.

Accessories and parts are granted with a 1-year warranty.

For products like memory cards please check warranty terms&conditions on the manufacturer website.

Warranty begins from the date the product is delivered to you. If a product develops a fault during the warranty period and the fault is due to a manufacturer quality issue rather than your own breakage or misuse, we will accept a return for warranty repair or exchange and we will refund you a reasonable return shipping cost ( National Registered / Signed for postal services rates, not Express / Courier ). 

However, there are situations you are unlikely to be covered by the warranty.

The user voids the warranty if you

- flash the firmware of a device ( if not agreed with us prior to flash the firmware )
- open the body of the unit in an attempt to fix

- modify remove or swap parts of a product
- use devise in a way that it is not intended for
- continue to use once the fault occurs and causes more damage
- fail to contact us when the problem first occurs

Warranties do not cover cases of damage to products from accidental breakage, misuse, or general wear and tear.

Returns without prior discussion and authorization will not be accepted.

If your product is covered by warranty where repair is impossible and we can’t offer a replacement due to stock or an outdated model, we will credit you what you originally paid so that you can choose to purchase another item from us. 


Cancellation of order

Should you change your mind after purchase, please contact us immediately. We can cancel your order as long as it's not been shipped. However, if your order has been shipped out, you will be responsible for all the shipping expenses (including the original shipping, handling charges and return postage). To return the product(s), you can refuse to accept the product(s) or contact us for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).

 

30 days Cooling-off period

We offer 30 days Cooling-off period for products that are unused and in the same condition that you received them, with original packaging and all documentations. Mostly this service is used in so called "unwanted gift"-cases, or for any other reason where you have changed your mind, not has been used a product and want to send it back for a refund. Please note that Cooling-off period does not apply to products that have been used.

Unwanted goods must be dispatched to us unused and in their original condition no later than next day after the last day of 30 days cooling-off period. We recommend that returned goods are sent to us by special / recorded delivery with the appropriate insurance cover as they will only be deemed returned when signed for by us.

Buyer is responsible for all return shipping expenses.

After we have received the returned product, we will credit your amount as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days. Refund will be made in the same manner in which you paid on the first place.

 

Defective product(s)

We try our best to deliver best possible service, however in case you receive wrong products due to our mistake or electronics products are Dead On Arrival ( DOA ), please contact us for exchange or refund. We will make an exchange or refund arrangement after goods are returned and we will refund you a reasonable return shipping cost ( National Registered / Signed for postal services rates, not Express / Courier ). 

If products do not work properly, please contact us first to resolve a problem. Do not return goods directly to us without getting an RMA number. Without RMA number it is difficult for us to find out your transaction record and this may result in delaying exchange or refund process.

Defective products must be shipped within 7 days from RMA number issue date via Registered / Signed for postal service.

If the warranty expires or products are misused, it will be declared void.

 

Return Merchandise Authorization ( RMA ) Procedure

After receiving the products from us, please keep the package and enclosed documents properly. It is because they are all necessary to provide if you return defective product(s) in the future.

Email us for an RMA number. Please provide your name, email address, phone and invoice number along with the date when payment of goods has been made. We will issue an RMA number to you by email.

Please repack the original package with everything received, including enclosed documents. Missing of any original components may incur a refusal of warranty process repair, exchange or refund from us.

Please write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package and send it back to us. We will not be responsible for any consequence caused if customers do not mark the RMA as requested. Please note that you should be responsible for the loss of shipment, there for we advise you to use Registered / Signed for postal services to reduce potential loss of returning package.

 

Return Costs

If the fault is caused due to a manufacturer quality issue, we will refund you a reasonable return shipping cost ( National Registered / Signed for postal rates, not Express / Courier ). 

If the fault is caused due to your own breakage or misuse, you will take responsibility for all return shipping expenses, but in some cases, you can avail a free postage cost under PayPal policy.

Shop online with PayPal and if your purchase isn’t quite right, return it. Your postage will be refunded. This service is only available for EU buyers.
